System Assessments
Industrial Systems Assessments (INSAs)
System-level assessments are aimed to make it easier for energy-intensive industrial companies to save energy by facilitating collaboration with DOE. Industrial companies may also seek technical assistance from experts to optimize their energy-using industrial systems, such as:
- Steam Systems
- Process Heating
- Compressed Air
- Fan Systems
- Pumping Systems
- Process Cooling Systems
Decarbonization Assessment
DOE will offer decarbonization assessment to companies within energy intensive sectors. More details will be provided soon.
Collaborative Technology Deployment
DOE will also offer decarbonization assessment along with collaborative technology deployment that can help reduce the risk involved in new technologies.
Additional Resource Assessments
Water
Companies can work with the U.S. Department of Energy to share successful water efficiency solutions and progress, network with peers, receive technical assistance, and more.
Waste
To facilitate waste reduction the Waste Reduction Network brings industry-leading organizations together to demonstrate successful approaches to waste management.
CHP Technical Assistance Partnerships (CHP TAPs)
DOE’s CHP Technical Assistance Partnerships (CHP TAPs) promote and assist in transforming the market for CHP, waste heat to power, and district energy technologies/concepts throughout the United States. Key services of the CHP TAPs include end user engagement, stakeholder engagement, and technical services.
Industrial Assessment Centers
IAC assessments are in-depth evaluations of a facility conducted by engineering faculty with groups of upper class and graduate students from a participating university. Manufacturers can contact the closest IAC location about receiving an IAC assessment if they meet certain criteria.
